The dress is made of basic, simple shapes. The instructions were mission but, the dress went together successfully. Very pretty day dress. It could be made of silk and chiffon for evening wear. Though the pattern is dated 1917, it would work very well for the earlier teens.
Danine Cozzens - Not Recommended
I had problems with this pattern. It ran large and I had to scale down -- a lot. It did not go together well and the result was unsatisfactory.

You'll need strong thread and a lot of patience, but the finished dress does look like the illustration and the skirt has a lovely line.
