GBACG Open House 2012

Once again it is time to reconnect with old friends and/or make some new ones at our elegant annual Open House. This is a great event for newcomers! There will be good food, good friends, and fun in abundance! There will be a light lunch buffet to nourish us as we hear about the upcoming events for 2012. We have some great events in store for you. GBACG Members are FREE and Non-Members pay only $5 (or free if they join the GBACG at the meeting).

Special Membership Offer at Open House -- Only $20 for the year!
Again, we are offering $2 off our annual membership of $22. You can join GBACG, or renew your current membership (even if it hasn’t expired yet). Because we could all use a little savings these days...

Can't attend the Open House? Don't worry, we're also offering the membership special online for a week. Beginning on Tuesday, January 17th through Tuesday, January 24th, 2012, you can renew online with PayPal or send in your check (must be postmarked by January 24th).

The Event: It's the perfect opportunity to not only meet your Board of Directors, but greet old friends and make lots of new ones. If you like, bring a friend you think might be interested in our Group. If you've been shy about coming to events or workshops this is the perfect place to learn about us and our activities for 2012. Costumes are always admired, but not required. Show off your finery or just come as you are. Either way, we look forward to seeing you there!

The afternoon's activities will include:

• Presentations on upcoming activities planned for 2012!
• Our annual fashion show! The Fashion Show's theme this year is:
  "Night and Day: Formal and Casual wear 1800-1960"
• Light refreshments!
• Meet your current Board of Directors and find out what's been going on with GBACG!
• Our annual raffle which includes great costume-related items (patterns, costume books, fabric, accessories, memberships to GBACG and Costume Academy and much more!
