Come celebrate the holidays, Gilded Age style! We’ll enjoy a sumptuous tea, holiday cheer, and the very best possible company in the incomparable Garden Court.

Menu:

For adults: homemade scones, assorted pastries, and fresh tea sandwiches to include smoked salmon roulade with dill cream, cucumber with the Palace’s signature Green Goddess crème, dijon ham with brie butter and apple, and late summer squash with red pepper mousse. Accompanied by four varieties of tea and a glass of sparking wine.

For children: age-appropriate tea sandwiches, pastries, hot chocolate spoons, and a crown and scepter.

Costume: Costumes are required for this event. Please select bustle era day wear, 1870-1889. (GBACG Costume Guidelines)

Practicalities: The Palace Hotel is a stunning venue, and we encourage you to come early to take photos. Tea service will begin promptly at 2 pm, and, unfortunately, we will not be able to serve latecomers. Please arrive on time.

The Palace Hotel charges $24 for 4 hours of valet parking with your Garden Court validation. For information on other local area garages, try sanfrancisco.bestparking.com

Public Transit: Muni Buses, Muni Metro and the F line streetcars all stop on Market Street adjacent to the Palace Hotel. To take BART, exit the train at the Montgomery station, the Palace Hotel is at the corner of Market and New Montgomery Streets.

Children: Children are absolutely welcome, as long as they are interested in a seated, conversational event.

You must be a GBACG member* to receive the member price. (*Or a member of one of our Sister Organizations: Costumer's Guild West, Art Deco Society of California or Somewhere in Time, Unlimited.) If you are a member and are purchasing several tickets for yourself and friends who are not members, then only you are entitled to the member price. You must pay the non-member price for your friends.

Tickets to GBACG activities are not refundable, but are transferable. If you've purchased tickets to a GBACG activity and are unable to attend, you may sell your tickets to someone else, but GBACG does not make refunds.
