Celebrating Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo! An event for patrician "Madeleines" in gray, sexy "Judys" in flashy greens and purples, sporty "Midges" in cardigans and skirts, tweedy "Elsters," and detective-dapper "Scotties" in midcentury ties. Costume: Late 1950s to early 1960s.

Edwardian Corset Workshop with Carol Wood

A long line, Edwardian corset will be just the thing for the upcoming Titanic Anniversary. Using the Truly Victorian TVE01, we'll build a corset appropriate for the years 1900-1910. Our instructor Carol Wood will also give expert fitting and pattern alteration help during this two day workshop.

Victorian Avant-Garde Period Exhibit and Picnic

Fallon House Tour and Victorian Picnic

The exquisite Fallon House was built in 1855 and showcases 15 fully furnished rooms typical of the Victorian period. We will tour the historic house and picnic on the grounds. A perfect opportunity to wear costumes from the Spanish Colonial era, or your beautiful sheer day dress. Costume: mid-19th century (1840s-1875), Gold Rush, Spanish California. Location: San Jose.

GBACG Goes to PEERS: Robin Hood Ball

Join Robin Hood, Lady Marian, and the Merry Men at the Blue Boar Inn for a rousing English Country Dance. Dance to Renaissance rock band Avalon Rising, who will play Medieval and Renaissance music, Celtic fusion rock, English country dances and waltzes from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries.
